Tolerance, for no good reason!

Tolerance, a boon, or bane?

Test of patience, time & again,

To every instance, that causes some pain,

We give another chance, hoping for a gain.

Keeping up the silence, to keep sane,

Giving in to ignorance, dead we remain,

But does it make sense, for emotions to drain?

When clouds are dense, yet hold the rain?

When tussle is intense, between heart & brain,

Muscles are tense, pressurising each vein.

Then it comes to glance, it was all in vain,

Living in a trance, that we would miss the train,

Trying another’s dance, would only bring disdain,

Instead, take a stance to walk your own lane!
