Now it is lost!

He knocked when it had no space,
Invaded it with warmth and grace.

"I am very fragile" it said,
"If you move away I will be dead",
And he assured all the care,
promised all the time he would spare.

It then gave him all the space,
Started beating for him with all the craze.

When he was near, it took the highest gear,
When he was away, it stopped with fear.

Slowly it started beating only for him,
without whom its life was going dim,
It only wanted to hear his voice,
Everything else seemed only noise.

Only with him, its spirits were high,
without him, it only wanted to cry
Because there was no space left in it,
nobody else it wanted to fit.

And now he was confident,
only his presence made it vibrant,
So he started testing its worth,
Tried to know if it was more than the earth.

Keeping it beating was a burden he felt,
With all the restlessness he dealt,
He forgot that it was fragile,
Would be left forever with no smile.

Fully shattered it started feeling,
With none left for its healing,
Since it had given all its space,
Never imagined to see such days.

Struggling to return from where it came,
It is tired of the toughest game,
the game which it thought it would never play,
the game which it feared would turn it into a piece of clay.

Now this clay doesn't know,
If he would ever come back to show,
the warmth which could remould this clay,
so it could again beat with the day,
Or someone will pick this clay and throw again,
Only to give it misery and pain.

It doesn't know where it is lost,
totally unknown what it would cost,
to someone who might wish a little space,
to someone who might show some grace.

It fears it would again give all the space,
To someone who might never show his face...
