It's finally the day to receive our salary, For the effort we made, burning each calorie, But some, unable to burn, due to untimely cravings, That they keep satisfying with last month's savings! And then we cry, we've put on weight! Ignoring what we ate, we blame the fate! Or do we over-eat for the pain of dissatisfactory results! Ignited with the firing bullets & passive insults! Nonetheless, money is definitely a motivation, For all the past efforts, it calls for a celebration! To recharge(wallets), rejuvenate & regain momentum! And start the month with full vigor & enthusiasm!

Tolerance, a boon, or bane? Test of patience, time & again, To every instance, that causes some pain, We give another chance, hoping for a gain. Keeping up the silence, to keep sane, Giving in to ignorance, dead we remain, But does it make sense, for emotions to drain? When clouds are dense, yet hold the rain? When tussle is intense, between heart & brain, Muscles are tense, pressurising each vein. Then it comes to glance, it was all in vain, Living in a trance, that we would miss the train, Trying another’s dance, would only bring disdain, Instead, take a stance to walk your own lane!

At home, they taught us how to walk, With all the love and affection, made us talk. Facing great difficulty, they made us eat, So we know all the flavours, not just sweet. They took us to places and showed us the world, Where so many things and colors unfurled. At school, they taught us how to write, And told us the difference between wrong & right. In class, they asked us not to fight, And taught us how to make our future, bright. Taking all the pain, they made us learn, So we become, eigible to work and earn. In college, they cleared our doubts & confusions, Taught us how to make our own conclusions. Also taught us making decisions in life, So we sail smoothly, not making it a strife. Solving our queries, they were a great guide, So we never lost hope, when facing a tide.   And some became teachers, just before an exam 😝, When their rooms, turned into a traffic jam, Emanating all the 'gyaan' they gathered in class, That was just enough, to get a decent grade and pas...

He failed in school, They called him a fool! She failed in college, They said she had no knowledge! He failed in a race, They doubted his pace! She failed on stage, They blamed her for time wastage! He failed in dance, They didn't give him another chance! She failed in completing a task Next time, they made sure not to ask! He failed in a show They said he doesn't know! She failed in a movie They said her future is gloomy! It was the end they all felt, Nobody saw how they dealt! They looked for a helping hand, But there was none who could understand! Nobody asked them why did they cry, Only left them with a question, why did they even try! And it added to their pain, Seeing people only helped for a gain! ‘Work-Life-Balance’ has been an endlessly debated topic since the last few years. It touched a new dimension called ‘Work-life-Integration’ only until the recent times before the covid-19 Pandemic has put all the employees to Work-From-Home. The new Work-Life-Integration brought in a lot of good things for employees from having a Gym for a young health freak employee to Crèche for a young mother’s baby . Although the expenses incurred in giving these home-like facilities are recovered from the employees in some form, it is still a huge expenditure for the employer to build and maintain these facilities. Yet, the purpose of all these initiatives is employee-satisfaction. Satisfied employees are believed to perform better and their performance leads to the success of the company.
